Discovery, planning and execution for a large-scale data center migration project that required Unix (AIX, including PowerHA/XD and GPFS cross-site cluster configurations) and Windows server migration (P2P, P2V, V2V) - 1430 workloads in total.

Data Center Migration 

Discovery, migration planning and execution for 150 Windows and Unix (Solaris) workloads (P2P, P2V, V2V) from a source data center to a target data center that were both located in Montreal area.

Server Farm Build/Migration/Decommission 

Perform standardized server build (including enterprise tools installation/configuration, and security hardening), server migration (P2V/V2V), and server decommission for approx. 650 Unix (AIX) servers and 2500 Windows servers.

SAN Storage Migration 

Discovery, migration planning and execution for a large-scale SAN storage migration project from multiple source EMC Symmetrix/Clariion and Hitachi HDS-9980V storage arrays to target IBM SVC storage that involved over 500 Unix (AIX, HP-UX, Solaris), Linux, and Windows servers (physical and virtual).

Data Center Migration 

Discovery and migration planning for 850 Unix (AIX and Oracle Solaris) and Windows workloads (P2P, P2V, V2V) from six source data centers located in three countries in Latin America (Peru, Costa Rica, Chile) to two target data centers located in Mexico. Provided target placement for the Production and DR workloads in order to balance the load between the target data centers.

Relocate 400 Windows workloads (P2P, P2V, V2V) from a source data center in Toronto to a target data center in Barrie, Ontario. Decommission workloads and clean up the DC in Toronto as a part of a relocation project.
